Need full build date please.

Can some kind soul here please tell me my actual build date of my new 2023 Mach-e. Seems I am on the bubble for a few corrected items as I am 6-23 car.

It is not on my window sticker - wasn't on my 2021 window sticker either unfortunately.

The door jam gives you the month and year, not the day of the month and that day is rather important for june of 2023.

Nope, just the build month (which OP already knows). I only know the build week for my 2021, and that’s because I was rabidly checking my VIN during the weeks it was supposed to be in production. I can’t pinpoint it beyond the week. ?‍?

Would OBD scanner battery age get you closer to the build date ?
Sticker on mine says 9/23 but battery age is only 7+ months so that puts it around Oct/Nov.
It's not precise ...or is it ? Im still feeling my way around Car Scanner and OBD .
Any OBD veterans/pros out there who can weigh in ?

I read this yesterday then found out this morning that If you go to parts.ford.com and enter your vin to search for parts it will show your build date.

This tool just tells you the build week, which is as fine-grained as you can get it. ??

That is not 100% correct, that date is as close to the build date as possible, maybe off one day. Ours was built on 11/22/22 per parts.ford.com. My documentation shows it was built on 11/23/22, so most likely 22nd was when the parts were assigned to my vin.

With that being said, build week is good enough, ford would not change anything mid build week, not how that works. Your car was built on or near 6/23/23. Basically this date imo should be used as the deciding factor when considering changes as its tied to the vin.

What am I missing? How does precise build date matter? I have never needed it on any of my cars.

Just for grins, I checked my window sticker. Maybe the Op got a defective window sticker.

My window sticker isn't defective - my door date is june 2023, my window sticker says 2-21-2024. The window sticker date is when the window stticker was made, not the car

There are no recalls or service actions on your VIN, so nothing to worry about.
