Need Help with OTA Updates (or lack of)

Hey Brian,

I have a 2022 Mach-E (UK model) which is seemingly stuck with OTAs. Last update was to PowerUp 4.2.1.2 back in August 2025, and nothing since. My Sync version is also on an older version (4.0.23095) which I think is a version low enough that it was caught by the pause on OTAs last year.

I have to assume that the pause and my Sync versions are the reason for the lack of OTAs - certainly the modem seems to work OK, as features like live traffic updates in Navigation work fine. Is there any hint on when this pause might be lifted and updates will flow? It's been months and months now.

The TCU would need to be provisioned for your country. I believe there is a service procedure in FDRS for this, but I am not 100% sure.

Thank you for that! It looks like the US TCU don't work on Europe for the data.
I thought maybe if I connect the car to a wifi network can make the care download the updates somehow.

You need an active TCU/TCAM for the connection to the server. That is a pre-requisite for OTA.
