Hey all, just wanted to post pics of the new 2025 Glacier Gray Mach-e Select we have been waiting for. As mentioned in other posts, we were able to sell our 2021 to a retail dealership that stocks hundreds of used cars (NuCar to be exact). Sell transaction went very quick and the outfit was able to pay off the Ford Option balance of 18K and hand a check to be for $3500 (so 21.5K was wat we got).
That said we searched for a new Select and found one that was being delivered to Empire Ford in Fall River, MA. Can't say enough how happy we are in dealing with Bryce, Roberto and Josue. Great service and great price. We are able to secure a 36mo lease with 2K down for a $300/mo payment. This is substantially less that the previous and even what it would have cost to keep the 2021! They even gave us a loaner Mach-e while the new one was in transit. I also mentioned this forum and Empire offered referral/discount, so anyone interested, please reach out to me/them.
As an exercise, I have been noting the differences both good/bad between the 2021 and 2025 Select I thought I would list a few here and keep a running list. I'm sure this has been done in part and some may be a result of trip/options, but wanted to share as I explore.
No Automatic Liftgate - This is a big one, and is being missed by the daily driver
Gear selector is now a lever on steering column instead of dial on console - knew about this one in advance, but miss the dial
Smaller Frunk - due to heat pump, did not use frunk that much so not a problem
Heat Pump - Have not had to use heat yet, but will see effect on battery consumption this winter
Better Range - Full charge is estimating 275 miles (2021 was at about 225)
Aero Covers - Covers are gone, now full black alloy wheel, they look much nicer
Instrument Panel Design - Seems plain and static, would like to customize
I'll add more as they present themselves, anyone have any other differences to mention?
