Not sure how new this is but the Ford App just offered me one year complimentary Ford Security Package. Ford really is moving to a subscription model for revenue. This will leave the dealers behind for sure.

It appears it's been available for F150 trucks as all the info when you click the link shares examples with the pickup. I wonder if this was a mistake or are they extending this to Mach-E owners now?

In Europe we've had the subscription "Ford Secure" for a while. Don't know if it's the same, but I have the trial activated and I haven't noticed any difference. I don't want to have my car stolen just to test it though

I saw this starting a few days ago, took a look at and pretty much just ignored it since the payment of deductible of $2,500 isn't available in California, which I take it is the whole point. Your insurance covers the stolen car, and this service pays your insurance deductible.

Got to love the fact that I can activate, but it won't do anything for me:
