New issue: last two days car keeps doing three short honks

So yesterday and today my car started doing three short honks when it’s parked in my garage. Seemingly random. A few times each night so far. It’s parked, off, not charging. Not locked.

Anyone experience this?

The only random honks that I have ever heard was because of the headlight switch. Confirm that it’s in Auto or Off (if not then rotate it to Auto) before closing the doors. The headlight switch has been known to randomly have issues of switching out of Auto mode on its own.

Yup - happened to me. I must have brushed against my light switch as it was "on", rather than "auto". Back to auto fixed the issue.

Nope, bug in the headlight switch. Over time it freaks out and goes into a state where it turns the lights on. Before I bought the new switch I was turning the switch to the OFF position and back to AUTO at least once per week in order to avoid this (the overflow resets when the switch is turned off). ??

I just had it at the dealers. Picked it up today. Hasn’t happened after those two days in a row. They did my recall and cleared all codes. We will see if it happens again.
