Only owned my 2021 for a few months and this already the third time I’ve had this service alert pop up. Dealer just clears it and says nothing is wrong. Any ideas?

I would pull the codes associated with the alert. At least you might know what is triggering the generic alarm

The P0929 code is caused by turning the gear shift selector without putting your foot on the brake first. There is a SSM for this issue: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...ht-with-dtc-p0929-77-stored-in-the-gsm.23309/

In your case, the gear shift module may need to be replaced if the hardware code matches is one of those listed in this TSB: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...pressed-transmission-remains-in-park-p.21849/

You also have a USB port that is shorting out sometimes. That could be from plugging in a faulty cable or device, but it could also be a wiring issue. The vehicle has a history with a pinched wire harness behind the dash affecting the gateway module communications and was a buyback.

Thanks! Yup, I know it’s a buy back, why I got it for $21k after tax credit. I do have a magnetic usb cord plugged in so the contacts are more exposed and could be the cause of the short. The harness issue was supposedly fixed during the buyback process.
