I’m also a bit suspicious that something’s changed perhaps in the software over the last month.
I’m in PHX and starting about October we stopped most A/C cooling and haven’t yet used the heat. After averaging 3.1 in the summer (we bought July 15) it jumped up to 3.9 overall since purchasing (5k on the ODO). Along with that we saw range estimates (always charging to 90% for NCM battery) go from 199 to 245.
Suddenly we’re seeing estimates down below 220 again. And to simplify the conversation around temperature and driving habits, we’re averaging above 4.0 now. Last night in about 55 degree weather we took an in-town drive of about 13 miles and the trip averaged 4.8.
So with a standard range battery (70) averaging 4.0, a 90% charge should be 252 miles. And our garage where we charge on 120 only gets down to low 70s overnight.
