My new Pixel 9 Pro Fold will not PaaK.
Anybody else have a similar problem with Pixel 9 Pro, or Pixel 9 Pro Fold?
I've performed all the basics over and over. Android Auto works fine.
Any ideas?

Pixel 9 Pro here and PaaK works for me. Are you doing the initial setup or something else?

Yep. Initial, right out of the box.
Removing from BT, re-installing FP.... Repeat.
I know my phone is connecting, Android Auto works every time.

My Samsung S24 worked, so I know it's not the car.

In Ford Pass, vehicle, settings, phone as a key, delete the key for your 9 Pro Fold.

In your car, click on the car icon, phone list, click trash bin for your Fold.

Then click the profile picture in top right of the screen. Click pencil icon, select unlink phone.

This should remove any remnants of a incomplete Paak registration. After all that start the process to link phone again from Ford Pass.

So far I havent needed to clear the phone from the car. I only delete the key from the app, and when I'm in the running/parked car, the app immediately asks me if I want to setup paak. I click yes and within a minute the new paak is setup and it works like it should... Until the next phone restart I guess.
Its not a huge pain since it only takes a minute and I dont have to go diving thru menus on the car.

Most times you don't need to do that. You'll know that this step is needed when PaaK gives a new name for your phone, calling it "Pixel 9 Pro Fold 2" instead of "Pixel 9 Pro Fold", for example.

When that happens, you need to reset PaaK from the car's settings menu. Still not a giant hassle, just one extra step.
