Hi guys, not sure what happend exactly but after updating my phone to Android 15 and getting the 23-PU1024-6CH-AUD update, the PAAK doesn't work anymore on this particular phone - but it still works on another Pixel phone also updated to Android 15. I tried every single trick I read on this forum, including unpairing, erasing, resetting, uninstalling almost everything possible on both phone and car and it doesn't work. I've got an error 97 saying communication with the car is impossible, but the car is perfectly fine with its Internet connection (I can get Alexa to work, for example) and it works on the other phone anyway. WTF ?

I had a similar problem and found the update had changed the clock/time settings. Check your clock and ensure it is set to auto sync the time. Once I did this it started working again.

Nope. Doesn't work. Time settings were'nt changed by this update, but I tried to set/unset automatic sync anyway. No luck. Just in case, key download is working fine, then the Fordsync app says "connecting to the vehicle" and it takes some time and fail with error 97.

Problem solved ! I did this :
1/ Clear Fordpass application cache
2/ Uninstall Fordpass
3/ Reboot Phone
4/ Install Fordpass
5/ Go to Car, unpair phone, erase PAAK profile
6/ Pair phone (Bt)
7/ Add Android Auto connection
8/ Add PAAK when suggested

Hope this helps.

A ? For the community- now occasionally my PAAK gets no phone detected . And it seems recognizing phone for unlock is less responsive . I use code to start car and PAAK then works Okay. Normal ? Thoughts?
I can do a full reset but wanted your experience thx

My own reply …IoS and found that a simple reset ( turn off restart phone ) and FordPass active made PAAK for me more reliable ……
Enjoy the ride out there

I just recently started using my fob when PAAK left me stranded at work for 20 minutes because the car wouldn't detect it. I love the convenience of it, but it's no where as reliable as a good ole fashioned key fob. I dislike having extra things in my pants pockets, but decided it was worth inconvenience over the frustratingly inconsistent experience with PAAK.

I've noticed that my Pixel 7 is much less reliable than my Pixel 4 with PaaK. But it has been working relatively stable for months until Android 15. Now it's back to toggling Bluetooth on the phone a lot to get it to work.
