When I was reading up on headlights and US regulations, I came across this Car and Driver article that talks about a company pushing improved hazard lights that rapidly flash (similar to police cars and tow trucks) and are harder for drivers to miss. The thought is this could reduce chain reaction crashes where somebody rear ends an already broken down car.
I'm 1000% for this! I hope they can get NHTSA to approve the changes quickly!
