New Startup Animation on Mach-E GT Display After Software Update

I've never understood all the tesla hate. Its clear most of the EVs have taken many cues from tesla. Just look the the big tablet in most of the EVs out there. or attempts at OTA updates. Etc. Tesla is a forward thinking company that took tons of risk and so far has been pretty successful, both in sales and influences.

If it wasn't for tesla, there would not of been a MME as we know it today, but rather another Nissan leaf clone.

9 months later and I still haven’t gotten a single OTA… cmon @Ford Motor Company

Same but for 6 months now. Not one single update. Not even the recall update.

Ford is definitely not meeting my expectations on pushing out software updates to fix issues and add features.

I'm fine with the old startup video because I activated my streaming pass with this new update and startup video and it completely wiped out all my Bluetooth between the three phones. Only one of them will start the car with the paak. And no, not a single phone. Connects wirelessly to Android Auto. You have to plug in an order for a Kinect and then when you make a phone call it says Bluetooth is not connected and it disconnects. But when you unconnect the USB, it then will try and connect the Bluetooth and only connect for media. And then for the third time tonight my battery high voltage junction box failed and I have all the check engine lights on. So so far for this update, it's been absolute disaster thank God. I just paid $10 a month yesterday so my car gets to go to the dealer on Monday and I get to get handed a dinosaur gasoline car. I'm so glad I paid so much money to have EVs. I'm trying so hard to like Ev's but they're making it so difficult and challenging to like

I'm sorry. My bad I'm not lucky enough for my dealer to even have a loaner available. They're going to tell me it's going to be a week or two. It just makes me so happy on the inside when I get told that and you looking to go well. How am I expected to pay my monthly payment if I can't use this vehicle to drive to work

I’ll admit I did check my car today to see if it had the premium grill in the animation, sadly no.

I will say I like the Blue look over the gold.

You can use forscan to choose which animation plays. If you're into that kind of thing, that is.

Can confirm I just did this. It’s really easy in Forscan, they have a module configuration mode now for that module where you don’t need to mess with hex digits. There are also a bunch of other options, I played around with the Raptor one for fun but it’s super low resolution and clearly not meant for this screen.

You are correct that the startup video has changed! It is nice indeed that the grill now matches for my GT-PE. I also like that the yellow-gold spark goes well with my Cyber Orange livery!

Do the non-GTs keep the non-GT grill in their startup animations though?

After the last update I no longer have GT animations on SYNC.
Maybe I need to change something in APIM settings? Splash Screen (APIM) I still have GT 7D0 03-01 504C 2202 07A2

Interestingly, the animation stayed on IPC.

Do you have the same? Is this a Ford change?
