First of all my screen has been black most days when I start the car and then reboots. I took it to the dealer this week for this and the garbled Apple play messaging since the September update snd they said there was nothing wrong. Both are still happening Oh well.
ANYWAY, yesterday instead of the black screen I got the wavy blue lines and then the Mustang Pony showed up. That was new. Then the Ford logo.

Has anyone had the Pony on their screen

Aye, the wavy lines & pony always comes up when doors are opened, reverts to normal screens when Go button is pressed, if that helps??‍

It happened again today and all doors were closed. It's much better than looking at a black screen at startup. Also, there is now a small blue horse on the little screen that is for watching eyes while in Blue Cruise. The little horse came up when I stopped the car.
Ford must be playing with my car without telling me.

No, I don't have that. Must be some kind of app.
My pony is in the same place (not the eye screen). Now that screen shows the same wavy lines and mustang pony that is on the large screen when I start it. How did it happen? So both screens are working together. Like I said, better than the black screen.

The wavey stuff on the center display and the pony on the driver display have been around for awhile now (months). My guess is that whatever was making your screen black on startup was preventing them from showing. Now something (maybe done by the dealer?) unstuck them.

Anyway, what you're seeing now is normal.
