My PAAK seems to be working fairly well theses days. 2022 built early this year. Just had the dealership update the cars modem software and it helped. Still need to hit the seat number on occasion though. Problem I have with both my iPhone and my wife’s android phone, is that when we are in the car using PAAK it seems that we have little to no cell reception to use our phones when parked. Any ideas why? Even if we have full LTE or 5g bars. If we are both in the car and I’m using my as PAAK, then she is fine and mine is the slow or no reception phone.
I understand that sync4 uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to connect, but shouldn’t our cell network still be work it on our phones for service?

PaaK functions over Bluetooth only.

You can use FordPass services (via cell or WiFi) to remotely lock/unlock and start the vehicle.

Your lack of cell connectivity is not related to any particular connectivity element within the Mach-E.

So outside of the car you have full LTE bars but when you get in the bars drop? Maybe you're somehow connected to the car's built-in wifi and it's slow?

Doesn’t the phone also connect to Wi-Fi in the car to use CarPlay and android auto? Mine is always connected to both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but not my Wi-Fi hotpot in the car. I believe it’s part of sync

You can validate the cellular voice issue by disabling wifi calling on your phones; then make calls at least to see if there is any performance difference.
Also disable wifi on your phone while in a bad spot and see if your cell data resumes normal functionality.

You could also test this aspect of CarPlay by disabling wireless CarPlay and using wired car play to see if your cellular performance improves.
