No communication between Fordpass and vehicles after it goes to sleep.

I installed a new OEM battery yesterday. I put it on a charger before installing it, then my car sat overnight which I believe resets the BMS. I tried to remote start the vehicle this morning and same result. In Fordpass it spun for 30 seconds and said "Remote start" failed.
Any Suggestions now?

Did you reset the BMS or not? That’s important. It doesn’t reset itself automatically, you must do it.

As Lee said, letting your car sit overnight after installing a new 12V battery doesn't reset the BMS.

I did try the above instructions after installing the battery, but I might have done it too slowly as I didn't notice the battery icon flash. I just did it again and did see the battery icon flash this time. I will try the remote start again later tonight or tomorrow morning and see what happens. Thanks.

I used the instructions provided to reset the BMS. This morning still no ability to remote start. What do you think are the next steps?

Is your FordPass refresh timestamp showing as current?

Yes, Remote Climate. Which refresh timestamp are you referring to? My current Range is correct in Ford Pass. Swiping down on the screen doesn't seem to refresh, but the range is accurate.

In addition to Remote Climate not working, the Lock/Unlock functions will not work as well.

Refresh timestamp is upper left hand corner.
But I'm guessing if your range is reporting timely, then the timestamp is fresh and your car IS communicating with the cloud properly.

Must be an Android thing. iOS doesn’t have that timestamp.

I use android and have never seen the time as pictured. Everything works in fp. The location shows 3 hours ago. It's been parked at work that long. I remember how you could manually update it.

Pulled the fuses and let the car sit for an hour. Tried Remote Climate Start and still no luck. Time to reach back out to Ford?
