Noisy bumps

I have a 23.5 that I purchased in April and recently started hearing this annoying creaking noise every time the car goes over a bump in the road, speedbunp, or pothole.

Has anyone else experienced this before? It’s rather hard to pinpoint where it’s coming from. Sounds like the back left passenger door, but when I had my kid sit in the back he told me that it sounds like it’s coming from the left of my seat but possibly under the car.

Please help as I’m at my end with this issue.

My '23 does not have the noises you described. Is it possible that the shipping rubber spring blocks were left in place? I recently tossed mine so I can't show them. They are/were red as I recall so would be hard to miss if you look at the springs. Just a thought.

My 23 Premium exhibits some "creaking" noises that sound like they're coming from the front doors on both sides (or the pillar). It seem to be worse when the car is cold/cool. Dealer said they couldn't repeat it, but it's there indeed. My biggest concern at the moment. The car seems insulated well (much better than my Escape) but these little creaks are driving me a little batty...

I've had a few random noises that were driving me crazy. I found one of them was the sunglasses in the sunglasses holder above in the center roof console. I'd look around for anything in cupholders and whatnot. I drive alone a lot, so it's so hard to really tell where the noise is coming from.

I have the same similar thing on certain roads, like something behind me. Not a substantial bump, just seems like the texture of some of the roads causes a noise, and I *hate* random noises in my cars haha. About to have someone drive me around so I can hunt it.

Has anyone gotten any answers or clues about this? I, too, have a 2023.5 model and lately, there's a creaking sound coming from rear driver side somewhere. It's most easily heard when I'm driving slowly over small bumps or undulations, especially while turning. I've even driven with my trunk open, or the seats folded, or the trunk mat and floor board removed, to see (a longshot, I know) if the creaking was coming from any of that - no luck!

I wonder if it's the suspension?

I'll take it to the service centre for a look but this is one of those issues where I'm expecting to be gaslit.

I tried all of the same things that you did and got so fed up. I ended up trying to lower the back seats and firmly close them back into place. And since then I’ve not heard it again.

Don’t know why but just closing them didn’t help, it had to be firm.
