Nonsensical FordPass Messaging / Activity

FordPass sends a lot of messages and does a lot of notifications. Some of them I scratch my head at. Here's the latest.

1) Vehicle is set to start charging at 7PM (off-peak rates). Max charging is 95%, to stay "under 100%". Starts charging, completes charging. Then, 15 minutes later, it tells me "Scheduled Charge Did Not Begin". Yes, it did. It's done charging... Is this because it didn't go to 100%?

2) Message Center says I have 3 messages. I have 2. If I remove all messages, still shows "1".

3) Vehicle is close to 100% charged. Message comes while it's charging that "Vehicle Will Charge Outside Preferred Charge Time" despite the app showing that charging will complete many hours before off-peak rates end...

Mine says I have 2 messages when I have none. SMH...

I code for a living, and some of the Ford software is downright embarrassing.

My FordPass app had the phantom unread message for probably 2 years. Other cars It didn't bother me much because the app isn't as useful on older cars.

It finally went away a few months ago. No idea what happened to get it to go away though.

I've gotten the notification about charging outside the window maybe 3 times sine Feb. its always been random when that happens.

And I've never gotten the other notification you mentioned.

Other than starting charge sessions, the app isn't particularly useful. I much prefer the one made by a user on the forum.
