FINALLY picked up my car today, 8 + months after ordering. Love the car, but having some issues that I think just need a little guidance. I think the person at the dealership doesn't quite have it all dialed yet.

1. How do I know what SYNC/Power-up version is installed
2. How do I get my sirius profile off demo
3. How do I push the remote setup settings I did on the computer to the car
4. My ford connectivity section is greyed-out. How do I make it active
5. What is the deal with Apps and why won't it show me a catalog?
6. how do I adjust the nav to not show me every gas station and restaurant icon but to show me charging ones?

ETC ETC ETC

Any setup tips would be great.

I don't know the answer to all of your questions, but I'll tell you what I know.

1. Updates have only been pushed to older cars made before July 2021. You probably won't get any updates for a few months
4. Have you linked your Ford Pass app with the car?
5. Are you talking about apps on the sync screen? Tbh I haven't looked at those much because there are only a couple that aren't very useful. They just use your phone data anyway. Honestly Android Auto and apple car play do the same things but better.
6. It will just show any poi gas or electric

A few days after buying my car and reading the owners manual, I scheduled a video conference with one of Ford’s Mach-e specialists to go over several things that I still wasn’t sure about. It was helpful and I’d recommend it - good luck!

To push the profile, set up on Ford.com owners site. When done with remote setup it gives direction on sitting in the car and it configures. BUT you cannot have your phone already CarPlay connected or connected at all. If you do, it does not work. So if you setup CarPlay already, delete it and your phone and your PAAK and try again. After full setup and PAAK working to get FordPass apps active you must plug in your phone via USB to get Applink configured. That will allow FordPass and the Apps functions to work. You only have to do it once. That should bring everything current and working on the screens with your phone. This assumes you have an Apple device. Android is similar. If you lose wireless CarPlay connections in the future, just plug into the USB cord and it usually fixes itself. Good luck.
