I still don't have a good grasp on the not completed status and what it actually means. On 9/24 I got an update message for ECG-24.2.4.10.2 not completed. I've seen "not completed" in the past and usually they will eventually complete and I'll get a notification when it does. But I never did get a message that it completed, and instead two days later I get 23-PU0725-CLM-FX completed, something completely different. So did the ECG update complete and simply didn't notify me?

Today, I checked software updates and I see Software Update 6.14.0 updates downloading. I check it again later and I see "not completed" for that item. However, I noticed the icons along the top row has changed. So maybe it only partially updated, but not completely? Very confusing! Wish the messages were more clear with these software updates.

do you have your updates scheduled, ie to install at certain time of the day? So it should complete the next updating period you've scheduled.

Yes, I have them scheduled for 1 am every night. I check FordPass to see when updates complete.

I have seen that link before, although it states right at the beginning that the post doesn't apply to Not Completed items.

So I never did get a Completed message for the 6.14 update. Instead I got a follow on update 24-PU0105-CMR-FX, and that one I did get a Completed message. I'm just going to assume 6.14 also completed with no message. I wish the FordPass app showed a history of completed updates.

Mine recently tried to install 2 updates while I was out parked and the 2nd didn't complete due to low 12v battery charge.

I guess it never will according to that link.

"Not completed" means the OTA failed for one reason or another. It could be a software mismatch, manifest mismatch or one of another dozen or more error messages I have seen. It could also have been canceled on the server side for some reason. Once you see that message, charging up the battery doesn't do anything as the OTA trigger is no longer active. All you can do is wait for it to be resent and hope that happens sooner than later.

My car has been stuck at 6.2.0 since October 2023. I’m a bit concerned as my warranty will run out via mileage soon
Dealer just tells me no updates are available. Just wait.
