Odometer resets after every trip / Lemon questions

Posting this because I haven't seen anyone else having this problem. It looks like there are known trip computer issues and Ford replacing instrument panels but I haven't seen any posts about people with the odometer resetting. Dealer took several days to get any answer and it sounds like they still don't know the answer but they are replacing the instrument a

Here's what's happening. Drive several miles one day - next day Odometer is back at the same place ~16,646 miles. No matter how many miles I drove in that day, it keeps resetting.

I'm also wondering if anyone has pursued returning their MME as a lemon with issues like this. As others have said, any odometer tag on a title is going to be a huge hit. Dealer swears it won't be but I'm not confident yet. Laws in my state say if car is in the shop for more than 20 days in first 24 months, can be claimed as a lemon.

Really curious to hear other's experiences.

2022 Rte 1 - can't find the build date because they have the car but received delivery 9/25/22 - ordered 11/1/21. So likely built some time in July or Aug 22

Still haven't gotten an answer from them on what my odometer will be corrected to. I suspect I'm 2k-4k above what it shows.

Weird. I suspect this won't magically extend your warranty, will it? ?

Check for recalls in FordPass or on Ford’s website. If you don’t see the odometer recall show up, send me your VIN and I’ll verify.

Unless everything is messed up, they should be able to read the mileage from other modules in the vehicle and set the new odometer to the correct value.

FWIW, back in the day IPCs were ordered at the dealer with the mileage we had at the time and installed with that mileage when the cluster and the vehicle came in. There was no estimation of mileage done and AFAIK nothing was reported to the DMV/MVD.

So maybe my warranty did get extended! Honestly as log as there's no tag or Title hit, I don't care. If they keep it beyond my state's lemon law though... I may try to get into a Lightning :)

Though I'm sure that will be an uphill battle

Yup, you're stuck at 16647 mi and the system didn't flag you for the harvest program.
