Trip Miles Wrong or Odometer?

So like most people (maybe not “most” since Covid), I commute to work. My commute is consistently 27.6 miles on the way in and it varies on the way home because I make stops. But, the important part is the 27.6 miles to work. I have noticed numerous times that in FP “EV DATA” that my trips data is wrong. Some days the miles are double, such as this morning. So this morning we had another big snow storm and while getting off the highway portion of my commute I wanted to see how long it had taken only driving 30 mph most of the way. So I pulled up the trip screen in the car and it had the miles at 48 already? I then compared the trip miles to the odometer to see if they counted the same for the remaining ~10 miles of my commute and they did. I didn’t look at the odometer before leaving the house, so now I’m wondering if my odometer also gained 48 miles versus the 17 it should have?? I will start to pay more attention to this, but wanted to ask the forum if anyone else has seen this discrepancy. Thanks.

There are quite a few threads on here about the This Trip not resetting and being very glitchy. Sounds like you have the same issue. Your odometer should be accurate.
