So the drivers side rear OEM mudflap on Shark took one for the team and broke off after it hit some road debris a couple days ago. It broke the plastic part that it attaches to on the underside of the car so I’m not sure best way to fix it, or reattach, anyone got any ideas or aftermarket suggestion that isn’t too much of a pain?

Wow - surprisingly cheap.
Yeah the part I have is fine, it’s just the piece on the car that it attaches to is broken and that part spans the length of the underside of the car, so not an easy one to replace

It's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but what does the damage to the clip nut locations look like on the car? Are there gaping holes, or did it just rip the plastic? If the latter, I'd be tempted to try and repair it.

It ripped the plastic, you can see the hole in the second photo with the top of it ripped out

OK< so those are not mud flaps. They're air deflectors. The broken piece that the ones in front of the rear wheel wells attach to is the plastic rocker panel that serves as an aero cover for the metal structure under the unibody. A good plastics shop can repair it, but the price of the repair might well be more than the price of the new piece from Ford. 😰🐩
