Recently, I received an announcement from Ford of the 21G01 update. It updates BlueCruise for my 21 MME Select. Will this update give me BlueCruise ver. 1.2. that some have been bragging about? It is an all day installation at the Ford dealer. I am already using the original version of BlueCruise.

I just read the dealer bulletin and the owner letter and it does not describe 1.2 as bluecruise update. This seems to be for those who do not have bluecruise still. But I cannot confirm as the language does not explicitly say this.

I got this letter as well but I’ve had BC for more than a year now, their systems are really bad at updating

It is BlueCruise 1.0 updates for your car. If hands-free BlueCruise mode already works on your car, then your dealer never claimed 21G01 properly on warranty paperwork. The 21G01 updates have been out for 14 months.

It is BlueCruise 1.0 updates for your car. If hands-free BlueCruise mode already works on your car, then your dealer never claimed 21G01 properly on warranty paperwork. The 21G01 updates have been out for 14 months.

Mine came OTA and I still got the letter last week lol
