Four days ago Ford attempted the OTA update to allow for charging at Tesla DCC charges.

The update failed and hasn't been re-attempted.

Is there something I can do to force it to re-try?

If the OTA failed it typically will re-try in about a week. Nothing you can do but wait for Ford to push it again.

Keep your 12V level high (drive around), keep charging SOC over 80%, park near an AT&T cell tower.

My FordPass says the installation was successful but the car said it was not. That was about a week ago. Curious what your FordPass says.

Well, it failed again last night.

If 12V is too low, how would I know since charge level is not displayed?
Could I leave it plugged in to my L2 charger? It says don't leave it on a fast charger but is L2 a fast charger?

You can find out the 12V level on your computer:
https://www.ford.com/myaccount/account-dashboard

Plugging in the L2 charger definitely helps as the higher level will allow for the software to install.

Connecting to WiFi helps with the download but more importantly parking outside in view of an AT&T cell tower is the best way to have it install.

No problem with 12V battery. Said the update was interuupted by another process, whatever that means. Just forced an immediate update - let's see how that goes.

"Interrupted by another process" is just a blanket vague response the vehicle will give you. Most likely, it is failing due to the battery not meeting certain conditions. I can check what the reason is with your VIN and what the battery stats your car is reporting to the cloud are.

It's failing on low 12V battery. Only 68-69% when the update was attempted, 24-PU0102-CHG-SUFX needs 80%+ to be successful. I recommend getting the 12V battery above 85% before attempting a manual install. See the failed OTA topic for methods.

The Tesla Supercharger update installed successfully on March 7th. You have two different OTAs waiting to install currently.

Thank you.

Do you think I might need to or should replace the battery? It is over two years old and has endured two Las Vegas summers!

Not quite yet. It's at 74% health (26 amp hours). I recommend 12V replacement at 60% health. So maybe in about a year unless you're really concerned about it. Probably not warrantable yet though.
