PAAK on Approach?

Just wondering if my phone in my pocket should work to open the doors when I push the button, without me being to take the I'm out of my pocket, launching the FordPass app and pulling down to refresh it. What what is this PAAK for??

It is supposed to work without doing anything, but many have to open the app. Refresh should not be necessary.

FordPass app should be always running in the background on your phone.
Mine, I do not have to take the phone out or bring the app to the foreground, PaaK just works when I’m close enough.
what phone do you have and which power ups have you received?

You have to allow it to access location anytime. My Pixel 6 really doesn't like that I allow FordPass to always know my location, but that made it where I don't have to pull the app up.

it should just work. Any time I go into the garage, I see it wakeup and the lights come on. Occasionally, I have to kit the button once to wake it up, press again to unlock. That hasn’t happened since the latest PaaK update.

Make sure you open it once after a phone reboot to ensure it's running.

Also, make sure this setting is on.
