Hi mine is a 23 mach e 4 x
Not always but many times when starting up, my phone connects and begins to play the last song from when I parked playing from music list in my android. After a few seconds Pandora jumps in and takes over. Anybody know why?
And
Sometimes when I switch back from xm to my phone the screen shows playing but no volume. It sometimes takes a phone restart to go back to normal.
Thanks as always!

My theory on your music based on my experience with an MME and now a Lightning:

The Ford Sync system/Bluetooth connection starts first. That's probably why you hear your stored music on Android. If you plug in the USB to your phone, it's like using a USB thumb drive and will start playing that stored music.

It sounds like you may have wireless Android Auto set up. Once the wireless AA connects, then your Pandora connects and starts playing. If you plug in the USB to your phone, that will also trigger AA to start, which is again, likely starting Pandora.

As for switching from XM to your phone and getting silence even though it looks to be playing, I have had the same behavior. My Lightning doesn't have XM, but I occasionally get the silence if I switch between the AA screen and the Sync/Bluetooth screen, so my guess it's a Sync or AA bug. I also restart my phone and do a Sync reset to get back to "normal".
