Driving in the rain on a road trip, got this warning along with a warning about auto hold not functioning and backup assist not working. First time having an issue with the car in two years. Scheduling service with dealer, however any guidance would be much appreciated.

Oh that is a new one I have not heard about before? Have not received any notifications on that I will go look.

Yes was just reading this in another thread, I had previously not seen this CSP, and our Mach-E was built in August 2021 so we fall in this CSP.

It was strange as we got the warning in the instrument cluster while doing 70 in the rain

Damage to the wiring resulting in corrosion is the reason for the CSP, so the code setting during inclement weather is not surprising.

Yes makes sense now that I am reading through everything. It was a little worrying as we were still 300 miles from home on a road trip with the in-laws in the car LOL.

Based on the way the CSP is worded I would say getting the fault while driving is the preferable failure mode.
If the fault occurred while the park brake was applied it would not release. ?

Thanks to everyone previously posting and commenting on this subject as it happened to me today after driving all day in Snow and slush...just as I was making a turn at the end of a highway exit ramp. Will arrange service for the CSP ASAP.
