I think it fell into my front bumper? We get proximity warnings from it, but only while stopping. It goes away when we fully stop.... so the sensor must be in there, right?

I'm not comfortable unbolting the aero underneath the car, especially without a lift, and there's no getting in from the side, even when the slats are open (see pic).

My local ford dealers are booked for a month and go figure, it's my wedding week and my whole family is coming to town. I was really looking forward to showing off my car but now I'm embarrassed.

My next stop is to see if my salesman can get me in to get it fixed.

You may be able to access that area from the top by remove the beauty panels and the frunk. There are threads here that show how to do that. Frunk removal is an easy process.

Did you ever figure this out? Unfortunately I hit a tire on the freeway and it knocked my bumper and sensor loose.

Yes, a rock hit the sensor directly and broke it free of the little circular clip. Broke the clip, too. Cost me $500 to have the dealer put in a new one and they painted it for free.

Damn I’m sorry to hear that. I was able to reach inside the wheel well and pop the sensor through again. Had to Loctite it back to the bumper though.
