Last night, i got a notification from the ford app that my door alarm was going off, along with the car alarm. Checked my cameras and seen nothing. when i got to the car, the passenger door was ajar. I tried to shut it multiple times but it wouldn't latch. i eventually got it to latch by unlocking and locking the door multiple times. I then turned the car on. and it said the passenger door was still ajar, and there is a fault, see service request. Now because my car thinks my passenger door is permanantly open, the interior lights won't go off and the doors wont lock when i press lock. this all seems to be because it sees my car door being opened, despite its actual position. I manually turned off the interior lights for the time being, but i can't lock the door. When opening the door sometimes, when it lets me open it. the bar acts wierd, sometimes full extends, sometimes not. sometimes locks on its own after a few seconds. I don't know what's going on. I seen similar issues, but not all inclusive like this issue. I have seen people with part of the issues i am having. I set up an appointment on May 6th, it seems forever to wait with this issue. any help or recommendations? am I just stuck waiting until it can get serviced?
