Hi All
While trying to start my car, I noticed that the passenger door appeared to be ajar, although it was actually not. I tried to close it, but I saw that a latch had come out and wouldn't go back in. I've had the car for a year now and never had any issues. It's a Mach E Select 2022 and has run 11,000 miles. I searched for the issue in a thread and found many similar cases. Does anyone know if there is a quick fix for this?

Use a pen or screwdriver to flip the latch closed with the door open, then press the open button again and wiggle the door so it retracts. You're simulating the door closing and then opening it again.

Thanks for your reply. Not sure how i flip it with a pen or a screw driver . there is some kind of plastic on the top of the latch. There are two screws next to it.

Just push it back in. It’s in the manual.
Thanks a lot. It is actually in the manual! It worked. Just pushed that slowly with the door. Everything looks fine. Some of the threads really confused me here. It is really a quick fix.
