Went to leave this morning and can’t close the front passenger door. The solenoid that pushes the door open is stuck in the out position. Any idea how to reset it?

From outside, close the door to where it's stuck. Then push firmly to force the door presenter rod to retract.
Was leery about forcing it. Two other guys advised they have had to do the same thing on 22 models.

I had the same issue with my 21 job 1. Just close the door as far as it will go then push the door with force distributed over a wide area on the open side of the door so as not to dent the bodywork. As you slowly increase the force, the presenter will pop back in and the door closes as normal. Not had any issues since.

This was another thing my incompetent dealership did not know.

I just had the same thing happen on my '23 yesterday. I did not get the feeling pushing on it harder would help. It seemed to be locked in the extended position. I found that if I tricked the lock with a heavy gauge wire, it would go in, then come out a little. Of course at this point, the door still can't be closed because the latch is now in the locked position. Then after pressing the open button, it would open the latch and the rod would come all the way out and lock again. Just by luck (and patience, I guess), the only thing that fixed it was the car going to sleep, auto locking the doors and folding in the mirrors. At that point, the pusher went back in, and it's worked fine since. Very strange. I have the opposite problem on my driver rear door where more often than not, the pusher doesn't seem to extend and you have to open the door with your fingernails. Clearly, we need to have a visit to the dealership. Disappointed to be seeing these kind of issues after only 18 months and 20,000 miles...
