PCM, SOBDMC, BECM Updates - Issue or Ignore?

Since purchasing my Mach-E, it's been a bit of a Frankenstein in terms of what software is installed. Yesterday, I finally got a new APIM installed at the dealer and they didn't really update it. I went from not having the sketch app to having it. That was the only change. ? I went home and was able to update the GWM, TCU, APIM, and GFM. Now, I have Bluecruise and much to my surprise, a frunk button in the FordPass App.

I also had a slew of other updates available like PCM, SOBDMC, BECM, etc. The PCM update stopped at the configuring stage and failed. Should I be worried and try again or just let it be? To my knowledge, the recall these types of updates solved for was already applied. I am assuming it's the updates that enable the "Imrpoved accuracy of distance to empty" like in the powerup version history below. If there's as simple solution like running the config again for one of these, let me know. Otherwise, I don't want to take chances and will just continue updating the APIM, etc.

There have been at least 5 iterations of the powertrain module updates since the first recall versions came out. It wasn't a "one and done" thing. They keep tweaking the powertrain set of modules and release updated versions (well at least we think they're updated).

Any suggestions for how to get these updates to take and get pass the config stage where it's failing?

Try reinstalling FDRS (with a restart), and make sure the power button is in the accessory mode (green light blinking) while performing the update.

Thanks for the help. Eventually got these to all work after running several more APIM, GWM, & TCU Updates. Once I realized the PCM update had disappeared, I kicked off the ABS update and everything worked just fine.

Yes, if there's an GWM or APIM update do that first because it can be a dependency for a PCM update to show up.
