Twice now, I have received a message from FordPass that cabin temperature is ready. And at an oddball time for instance this morning it was 6:57

Both times, I went into the Mach-E and it was cold as ice in there. When I checked the display, absolutely no departure time programmed for this event.

Has anybody else seen something like this?

Was it an alert to tell you cabin temp or did you see that battery and cabin were preparing for a drive when you went into fordpass?

When it gets really cold, the battery will warm itself to keep from getting too cold. The cabin doesn't appear to actually be warming but the message displays. It's not warming as a result of departure times...just trying to keep the battery from being too cold.

I've seen something reported similar that Fordpass showed preparing for drive at a random time with no departure times set at all.

Current theory is the car is warming up the battery to keep it from getting too cold and they don't have it reporting that status correctly.

Yes, I’m aware that the battery may need to be warmed up at times. It is relatively mild here in Ontario right now, right around freezing. days ago when it was frigid, never saw any sort of a phantom alert of this nature.

The only alert I received today was telling me that the MME cabin has been warmed up. Exactly what I would see when I have a departure time set and at the ordained time I get the alert that it is ready to go.

I have been having trouble with the set times this past week. It is set for M,W,F and it has not warmed up the cabin at all, even though it is set to do so. I tried turning it off, then back on.

This happened to me not 5 minutes ago. Got the notification from FordPass but my car is not warming up, my L2 charger shows no usage increase. My best guess is a bug in the app.

EDIT: I take it back. It just flipped on. My scheduled departure time is 7:40 so it might have started the preconditioning and sent the notification by mistake.

Happened to me for the first this morning. Programed departure for today is 0845 and only prepare when plugged in is selected. Temperature was 27F last night so plugged in. At 0645 I received two messages that the cabin was ready but it wasn’t. Do not know if the car was pulling power to protect the battery but it certainly could have been.

My wife says she has seen twice now departure times that she has not set. Being that we are in the hottest part of summer, I'm speculating that the 'system' wants to cool the fluid around the HVB. Reasonable assumption? Anyone have any other insights?
