Hi, can only confirm I have the same issue, my Blue Oval discount subscription has expired, so I am switching to use my Electroverse card, and I saw in the Electroverse app you can enable P&C, so I tried to disable it in the FP app first, but like you it just spins around for ages and does nothing, so just using my RFID card for now.
I tried setting plug and charge for my Electroverse account and it came back with a comment that my vehicle was not plug and charge compatible.

Electroverse don’t currently support fords for P&C . Ford do via the FP app and the blue oval network. Electroverse are cheaper at Ionity which is the reason I disabled it.
pretty sure it’s only Ionity that are P&C for Electroverse as well.
Personally I wouldn’t enable it as when you do you’re committing to that billing company to charge you (Electroverse, Ford Blue oval) whose charges may not be the most competitive. Just use the app that offers the best rate.

Thanks for the good advice.

If you can't toggle off P&C it's not able to talk to the car. If you bought the car used it's probably like mine and trying to talk to the previous owners account. Or possibly not able to talk to your car. There's a fuse for the telematics that you could try pulling, or possibly need to pull the negative 12v terminal to just reset the whole car. (I've had to do that on my 21 more than a couple times). I eventually got P&C to work but it was a series of resets, and I think at one point I even master reset the car. You could also try talking to the BEV team (I can't find a number for the UK), it could be something hung up server side. (Also could oddly be an expired card on file, at which would be the wonderful error handling by whoever had hands in the Fordpass app and server side configs)
