I’m likely going to go with the three year Ford options, since the car is really a technology product, and things can change an awful lot in three years, never mind four!
My reasoning precisely. I've only once in my many years of buying cars bought it on contract (just to get a financing discount then) but I may with this one for the reasons you just stated.

Since Ford closed the orders for the Mach-e on the website, does anyone know any other ways to check the current interest rate and/or incentives for Ford Options now?

Thanks! Seems like that website doesn't list any interest rate for the Ford Options row though. Should we assume it will be the same rate as the normal finance rate?

What if the dealer didn't give the $2000 rebate? (IF it was Ford Option)

A friend actually picked up a Select today and they were told there isn't any rebate. Still used the Ford Options.

I just looked at my contract, and I didn't see any mileage stipulated. In the part of the contract where mileage is supposed to be listed, it just says "N/A". The web site isn't very specific with mileage limits, although I see that the lease mileage gives a wide range between 7500 - 19000 annual mileage. Is it the same for every contract? I took the 48 month options package at 1.4%.

No it should list the mileage or have an addendum document. The contract should look something like this. 47 and 1 payment schedule and the balloon box checked.

Oh - ha I don't know how I missed it. So mine is .25 per mile in excess of 60K. I don't know how I got 15K annual and you have 12K. Unless that's the difference with buying a GT.

You should have been given the choice to select the annual miles amount at the time of purchase/financing. Our dealer finance guy showed us various annual miles amounts with the impact on the monthly/residual and let us choose.

Interesting. I remember being asked how much I would drive it per year. I do not recall seeing a chart showing the various options. Hrm... Not a big deal, since I don't see going over that amount, or at least not by much, but it's still a tad annoying.

Ford Options has these incentives in CA, $2,500 Ford Options Bonus Cash and 2.49% APR, see program numbers below:

From the Ford Build and Price site.
Hi,
My Premium was built last week (yeah!) and ETA here is 10/25 (which I take with a grain of salt). So I'm starting to get a handle on the Ford Options option now.

Would you be so kind as to look in Smart Vincent and see what the current Options bonus is, if anything? I ordered the car 1/8/22 if that makes any difference.

Our dealer, Mullahey Ford, Arroyo Grande, said they weren't sure they were going to offer the Options plan as the previous one (and their first) "didn't end up so well." I'm speculating that the buyer paid off the balance before the 90 days needed for the dealer to get any rebates.

Is it correct that the dealer doesn't have to offer Ford Options? They've already agreed to x-plan pricing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
I don't have access to SmartVincent. For CA the Ford Options Bonus cash would either be $2,500 or $2,000.

The dealer does not *have* to offer Ford Options. They cannot be forced into it, but you can push back and mention your after sale survey from Ford will reflect your sales experience.
