Post recall OTA I've noticed my charger dips about 1kw shortly after starting charging (within the first 5 minutes) and then going back up to full power, causes a clear notch, can somebody else check? 23 here.

I've not seen anything like that in my charge history since I my 2022 Mach E GT got the update on 11/12...

My ChargePoint has always started at 8,4kW then after a minute it goes up to 9.6kW. I see a little notch at the start then it’s flat until the end. I checked back a full year and the curve looks the same as last night’s charge.

The current will gradually ramp up from 0 to 48 amps when you start charging. If you interrupt charging such as with a remote start or turning the vehicle on or off, then it will start over again at 0.

I haven’t seen any issues with the charge current on my car lately.

I can’t get a sense of scale or time in those crops.

Where are you located and how cold does it get? Maybe the battery is heating first if it drops down to 6.5 kW for ~20 minutes.

It's just about 12 minutes after it starts charging where the dip is that's suspicious for some buggy update code to me. The coldest the garage gets is the 40's. This happens regardless.

I’ve noticed the dip 12 minutes after plugging in if you just had shut off the car. That’s when the 12V recall software finishes the 12V delay period. The charge will ramp down but immediately ramp back up.
