I thought I was a member of EAP as I got email from them this past July. I went to the EAP site and logged in. I was presented with an application to sign up. I made out the application and now on the wait list.

I think my account being locked out due to the provider for my electric company's rebate program pinging the car is the cause. I remember seeing an email about a EAP survey that I could not access due to the account lockout.

Smh. Does anyone read the confidentiality sentence?
Apparently not.
Who are you? Fords "Terms and Conditions" nanny? GTFO with that. If Ford wants to pursue action let them otherwise let the information flow!
They can, they do, and they will.

The reason such agreements are in place is because things happen when placed in the real world. There could be some significant changes before it’s rolled out to everyone.

I am also waitlisted right now. I was in EA super early and then at some point I wasn't for some reason. I re-applied and got waitlisted. Oh well.
They sent out an email over a year ago to EA members updating the terms including the confidentiality agreement. If you didn’t sign in and accept the new terms you were dropped from EA. It happened to a lot of people because they blew off the email as soother marketing campaign without reading it or just missed the email.

Ooh, did you see the fine print on that email? It said if you post about it, your car will be permanently locked to BlueCruise 1.0. Yikes!

Well 1.4 instead of 1.3 is a fun twist
I don't remember who it was, but I remember a forum member predicting we would jump straight to 1.4 and the majority were very skeptical. Kudos to them, they called it right.

If the EA folks are getting it now, then I guess the rest of us can expect it sometime in, what… July?
Depends on how smoothly the rollout goes, but it could be fairly fast, if (if!) things go well with 7.0. Definitely after the holidays, but wouldn't surprise me to see some non-EAP vehicles get it in January.

For a while I was receiving updates just a week after (or less) after they went to EAP, though that has slowed down recently (I got 6.7.0 this week, so now a few updates and 10+ days behind EAP).

Of course, if they detect some bugs and decide to release a 7.0.1 or whatever before rolling out to non-EAP, then all bets are off...

All I can say is that if they tell me that I got BC 1.4 I would LMAO since my car isn’t hardware-compatible. ??

Wow, all this is unexpected...

Please read all your emails carefully guys, especially stuff at the BOTTOM...

And don't fill out a survey on something you haven't got yet.
Ford maybe should have sent the second email before the 7.0.0 email - not three hours later. It isn’t until the second email that they explain not to do the survey yet. SMDH.

Reality is, what does anyone actually have to lose when posting EA info to sites like this?
The ability to be in EA? ok. Not huge by any means.
The ability to get updates on their car? Nope
Legal action? Nope
Put to the back of the line (FoMoCo could geo relocate them to the UK code base for time of ownership, if they really wanted)
In this day and age where fake info is rampant I'd actually think they're encouraging people to post about it. More so right now when sales slump and they need the positive publicity.
They can ruin the program for the rest of us.

If people can’t be trusted to keep secrets, they stop sharing the secrets with us.

Why don’t they want EA people to post?

Because a lot of times the updates and things we get aren’t ready yet. Lots of bugs, not completely done. They’re testing them out for good reason.

I'll forward you my email and then you can feel special. I still get them and I un-enrolled the vehicle before I deleted my Ford account.

I guess whoever purchased the vehicle must be happy ...

I have very little “inside info”, but I’d hazard a bet that most EA cars haven’t received 7.0. In fact very few probably have. Plus a lot of EA cars are still at 6.2.1, 6.3, 6.4 or 6.6. It’s been 10 days since my last numbered update and I’m not atypical in that regard.

I'm in EAP and was getting all these 5.1.x and 6.x updates through 6.4.0 then the 2nd 6.2.0 in the first batch of cars that got them...then poof no more numbered updates. I think I got 2 of these latest unnumbered updates afterwards but I seem to be left out again.

They stopped coming in around when I got my HVBJB repair. I wonder if that had something to do with it.
