That depends on a lot of things including your build date. 3.x updates have only been released to 2022 vehicles so far. 2.8.3 is the most recent I've seen on older vehicles.

No, you just wait unless you have an active recall that involves updating software that you don't want to wait to receive over the air.

My MME is built in March 2022 and I just got OTA 3.2.1 today.
