To add to that, the UI should be more “state aware”. They do this in some places (mainly to inhibit features they don’t want you messing with while driving), but not consistently.

I guess it is state aware. It’s aware that your vehicle’s state is that it’s in your account and won’t give you a frunk open button. ??

My car reported that it installed OTA package 4.2.2 yesterday afternoon after I parked at home. My car downloaded but never installed 4.1.3 back in February, 2 days after it installed 4.1.2. At least the software downloaded icon isn’t there any more.?‍?

camera button but no trunk or frunk buttons top of screen.
so far happy with the upgraded UI.

Did we lose Automatic heated seat feature with this update or am I missing something? I see speed 1-2-3 but the Auto seems to be missing.

Still there if you tap the button.

When you push the seat icon on the screen, it shows the three temp settings.
above that is the seat icon. Push that and it will go to auto. Don’t use the volume control.

I know I'm opening up a whole can of worms and hurt feelings with this, but what exactly determines whether or not you get an electronic frunk release? The little MFG panel inside my Rt1 door says 6/21

edit: oh yea, and I'm in the US if that matters.

Updated to 4.2.2 May 3rd. Think it was kick started by FDRS in April. PCM failed at the dealers but updated with 4.2.1 on April 30th. Good to see OTA come in and be current. Hoping for good things in the future. 4.2.1 explained it was the one update to rule them all ?.

I see why they made charging an app now. A bit more info on tire pressure would be a bonus when requests are being taken. No frunk button in sync/app here.
