'21 Job 1 in Early Access:

I got the unnamed update last night ... but it didn't complete the install. It did re-update this morning when I used the car to do an errand. On my way home I noticed it also started downloading 6.2.1 (two updates in 1 day ... woot!)

6.2.1 completed.

Upon starting the car, I got the question asking if I wanted to leave rear-occupant alert reminders disabled (I have no small children so I leave that off).

I went to check the update status and got the notice that vehicle connectivity needed to be enabled ... but within a minute or so it enabledf itself (I didn't need to change anything) and I chalk that up to needing to give the a car a minute to restart the module.

Mirror folding was off (I had to re-enable it).

I did not notice anything else being disabled.

Location of some menu items HAS changed. For example, when I cross the border into Canada, I enabled the setting to display speed in km/hr ... that used to the last menu choice (I think it was in the Vehicle settings category). It is now nearer to the top (not at the very top... but just a few rows down).

Also, in the first car settings panel (where you pick the drive mode) I used to have just two items on the list which were 1-pedal and I *think* it was propulsion sound ... but now the auto-hold (for brakes) is also appearing on that list.

That's all I've noticed so far.

Got 2 updates yesterday and now got 6.3

I also got 6.2.1 yesterday and 6.3.0 today.

Same, nothing since 6.1.0 on a ‘23! Every day LVB is above 90% and connected to wifi. Hope we don’t get forgotten either.

Here you go. The update that failed was 4.2.6 and it failed with error message:

"groupId":"1""errorCode":"ManifestCurrentAssemblyDoesNotMatchWithFromAssemblyInManifest(14)"

Hard to tell if the update really failed due to mismatched files or if it was recalled by Ford.

Hard to tell if the update really failed due to mismatched files or if it was recalled by Ford.

The mismatch can be because the dealer already updated those modules before the OTA could complete.

Your hunch seems to be correct. Looking up his vehicle history, the dealer did do some work related to the modules listed in that OTA on 4/6/2023.

OTA history for the year is below. No other OTA in your queue at this time. The most recent one was 6.1.0. They seem to be pushing out the 6.x.x updates pretty aggressively right now. You should be getting some more soon.
