2 weeks after being forced to pick my car up and being told there's nothing wrong with it, they did "everything" they could and were supposed to do, and it must be my home charger I got the following message from ford corporate via email "Our task force team was able to see that your vehicle has a Powertrain Malfunction issue. The diagnosis from them is the contactor control circuit is low. Please let me know if you would like assistance with scheduling an appointment with Metro Ford or another dealer of your choice so that we may get your vehicle repaired."

Turns out I'm not crazy and they did have the information they needed to diagnose and fix the problem but Ford doesn't require their dealerships to maintain any type of service standard. @Ford Motor Company
Sounds like this recent bulletin: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...-mil-and-dtc-p2c94-stored-in-the-sobdm.27078/

Bad charger can possibly cause it. Your options are to replace your EVSE or wait for the software fix.

That can cause a stop safely now message? Interesting. Anyway it sounds like it's not the charger, as ford is recommending a part replacement and scheduling me for that service based on the codes they were able to find. I haven't heard yet what exactly they want to replace.

Maybe you better send me you VIN so I can see what the code is exactly and if part replacement is warranted. That SSM specifically says not to replace parts for the contactor low code.

Yes you have the P2C94 code referenced in that SSM bulletin, so no parts should be replaced at this time. Please give that SSM # to your dealer and remind them it says no part replacement. I don’t see anything else wrong, you have normal/typical codes otherwise.

Was the stop safely now message I had previously also related to this issue?
