Tesla offers a feature to coordinate charging, which allows the Powerwall and supported Tesla EVs coordinate charging during power outages or when there's excess solar production.
From my searches, it seems like the magic for this feature is between the Tesla vehicle and the Powerwall, but I'm curious if this could be accomplished with a Mach-e if using Powerwall and a Tesla Wall Connector.
Can anyone with a Tesla Wall Connector comment on the app experience and controls? Or are you forced to treat it like a dumb charger where all of the charging is controlled on the MME?
If anyone has Powerwall, a Tesla Wall Connector, and an MME, I'm really interested in hearing how this is working out for you and if there are any coordination benefits here.
