I’m sitting with a Tesla Tap from a couple of years ago. But, yeah cheap could be a bad sign. Best case in the event of a problem is the temp rises and one of the sensors shuts it down. Worst would be a lot worse than that.Just remember that you often get what you pay for. Cheap price often means cheap quality. You do what you want but I'm not running 48A 240V continuously through a non-tested, no name adapter plugged into my EV for 12 hours.
