WARNING: The system does not
detect vehicles moving in a different
direction or animals. Apply the brakes
when necessary. Failure to follow this
instruction could result in the loss of
control of your vehicle, personal injury or
death.
I know you're simply reporting what the manual says Rick, but it is rather shocking to me that the pre-collision assist feature is not designed to detect animals. I guess there are no deer in Michigan..... Oh wait.

Thanks. He's an F5 Bengal and quite a bit bigger than a normal cat.
Cool. I didn't know about the classification system. I have a friend who has a Bengal named Enzo Furrari (he's a car collector). What a lovely cat. Gorgeous and very sweet too.

Frickin' gorgeous is what he is. Animal lover here.
