So I’ve had my ‘23 GT about 4 months now, and will be taking my first road trip of sorts with it. Here’s my question: I know that Apple Maps and Google Maps don’t precondition the battery as the Ford Nav does. Is that necessary on a 700 mile round trip? Especially this time of year (late summer/early fall), when it is not particularly warm nor cold. Can someone clarify to me? Thanks!
To that end, I work from home and only drive maybe 3-4 days/week at no particular schedule. So no ability to set a regular departure time. Is it needed to precondition the battery once winter hits (or frankly, even during our now fading summer which was 90+ degrees many days)? If so, how does one precondition under these somewhat random scenarios? TIA!
