Preparation needed for extreme cold weather

Why would it be 66 degrees? I thought it was already determined that it would heat to 41?

Maybe 41F is the target for non departure time battery warming. (automatic)

66F was departure time initiated. Literally prepping for driving.

Just speculation on my part. I did not go out and get an OBD battery temp reading after the 2 shore power sourced current draws that took place long before departure time pre-conditioning.
