Today my Mach E is switching the profiles while I am driving the car. I get about 3 to 5 miles away from where I started and the profile switches to guest thus changing how the car drives with obviously different settings. Oddly enough when I click on the profile to get it back to normal it states "unable to switch settings while driving". Ok so then how did you do it from mine to guest then? The only way to get it back it to place the car in park and resent the SYNC 4 system, then it recognizes it. Anyone else doing that?

I've had Personal Profiles turned OFF since the first month I bought the car 2 years ago. I've avoided all the profile problems that people keep reporting. We have 2 drivers in house that use the car but we're fine sharing all the same settings except the seat and mirror positions which have separate memories tied to the door 1-2-3 profiles and the fobs.

With Personal Profiles turned OFF, everything (except seat/mirror) just stays the way it was left last. Sometimes simplicity is just easier.

Mine did it when I first got it last month. It did get all the updated up to 4.1.3 and hasn't switch to guest while driving since, but sometimes is stuck on guest until a forced Sync reboot. At which point I can switch profiles to myself while driving. Job1 car.

Hnmmmmm I might be able to get away with this as I am the only one that likes driving it. Thank you for the idea.

The Ford engineer stated it was the APIM that needs to be replaced. Unknown timeline on the part but that controls enough accessories that it makes the car annoyingly do things like this.
