Propulsion sounds cannot be turned off

Since an update I received May 22 the 'switch' to turn on and off propulsion sounds has disappeared. Since, propulsion sounds are always on. Dealer doesn't know how to solve it. Escalation to Ford didn't help.
Anybody else having the same problem?

What drive mode are you in? Make sure you're in unbridled. Try a Sync restart - hold the volume down and next track buttons on the steering wheel for about 10 seconds and release when you see the screen restart.

I've been programming computers for over 40 years, and it has always been my joke that I never want Microsoft software in a car, because I don't want to have to reboot it every day.
Ford software makes Microsoft look really, really good!

To be fair, I've only had to reboot the mach-e a couple of times, and only once where it was a drivability issue. But overall, the software in the car and especially in the app is embarrassingly bad to me in some places.

I have had it where it would not turn on. Was trying to show that to my relatives when they were visiting for Thanksgiving. The slider control was there but it wouldn't stick for more than a second or two. A Sync reboot corrected the issue.

Yeah, I have to reboot Sync at least 3 times per day now. Used to be fine for around 19-20 months (55k miles give or take) but now I have to reboot that system on a regular basis. Even then, I sometimes don't have bluetooth or my profile available to me. It's pretty much a magic 8 ball right now....

I tried the reboot a couple of times already. Doesn't help unfortunately...
