Updates turned off FORScan changes

Never had this happen before, but noticed the other day that my Power Meter is gone. No idea when it went away, my wife drives it as her daily driver, I drive when we're headed somewhere together, or drive my truck. Kick sensor still works. Haven't had the chance to see if Glare Free still works.

I'll have to go look and check.

A lot of the updates overwrite the configuration files in the car. The power meter is definitely one that's been reported before as having been reset. ??

I did these 2 years ago, and so far nothing had been reset. Don't know when it did though.

6.8 updated the IPC. You just have to go into Forscan and re enable the Power Meter. For me I have a 2021, so this latest update was the first chance I got to get the power meter.

You probably had that in the flurry of updates on the way to 6.14. Easy to miss I suppose. Updates won’t clear all Forscan mods, just the ones that pertain to the module being updated.

Yes, I guess. That's how I read / understood "glare free" in Michigander dialect.

I mentioned that mine power gauge got turned off maybe in 6.14 or one before that. Not 100% sure. I finally turned it back on again.

Edit: that's the only Forscan mod I've ever seen get turned off due to an update.
