Simply put, do you use the propulsion sounds?

I’ve flicked them on every once in a while, but only because I forget what it sounds like. Honestly prefer the quiet ride over noise of any type. Not a fan of any noise being artificially added/amplified, even if it’s noise that’s naturally produced by the motors (such as the subtle “vroom” you still get through the speakers even with propulsion sound turned off).

The only sound that should be coming from my car is the music I’m listening to ?

I have a philosophical objection to fake un-useful noises or other additions, so leave it off as a matter of course. I have turned it on, but don't recall it sounding like anything/serving any purpose.

I put it on every once and awhile, usually when someone has never been in an EV, they want to hear "the sound".

The only time I really care for it is when I put it in unbridled mode and then I wish it was louder. I love the quiet of the EV for every day driving but I do miss an engine roar when I jump on it and am trying to have fun.

Never used it. But as long as they have it maybe Ford should make sound options like choose from classic 289, a modern 5 liter v8, perhaps throw in a v10. Personally I think it would be a hoot to have 90cc 2 stroke! Ringadingading!

I would if they were customizable or there were more options. A funny option would be a kid going "vroooom" and faking the engine and shifting sounds. And perhaps quiet and aggressive (Mustang GT) options. Frankly, whatever they have now I barely notice. Maybe that's the point. But even passengers have asked me "wait, did you turn that feature on?"

I like the suggestion from @Silvernort as well ... This is Ford... can't they include some epic and/or classic sounds? If they provide the same for some racing games, it would be fun to have the same in their software :p

Never tried it for two years. Then, a software update turned it on. I thought I had a maintenance problem.

I'd use it if I could upload my own sounds. I want to have it make the annoying goat sound when I floor it .

It's fun wish it was a bit louder. I would say 90% of time I go with sweet electric silence :)

If they had different sound options and also added in gear changes, maybe. But for the most part, its a silly feature (to me). I love that my car makes no sound but can out pace most of the high performance cars around me (which is A LOT in Miami lol). All in all a gimmicky feature imo.

As much as I enjoy a quiet ride in my Powerboost and Mach-E, I still quite enjoy the music of a V8 and even the Porsche Flat6.

They can be tastefully loud, rather than obnoxious, and I won't be the least irritated.
I agree, in addition to V8s and a Flat6, my favs: a Ferrari V12, GMA T.50 Cosworth V12, Lambo V12 & V10, Audi RS3 2.5 inline 5 (derived from a split in half 5L V10 Huracan engine)

I probably would turn it on more if it was a better sound than a generic V6. Otherwise I enjoy the quiet.
