I just realize my GT Does not have the fancy logo puddle lamps. Or does it and I can’t figure out how to get it to work?

On the 21s, the mirrors need to retract when locking the car. Then you’ll see the puddle lights appear when the welcome lights go on … that is until you unlock the car. When the mirrors start moving to extend, the puddle lights extinguish. I’ll have my pudding now, butterscotch, thanks. ?

So I’m guessing if you go into settings and under lighting, there is welcome lighting to turn on at at least that’s how mine did I guess.

Will that work on a Mach E that does not have the option (or Feature as Ford calls it) of the 1 MPH while in Park? I guess I should buy them because mine has that option. Car has been at the dealer for two weeks and they have replaced the IPC and it still does it. They now have a Hotline case open waiting to see what the fix is.

If you have the welcome lighting and the mirrors autofold turned on and you are still not seeing the puddle lights, I found two other things to consider:
1) The car first needs to sense that you have actually walked away from the car. Be mindful of where you keep your key fob and your iPhone. Make sure they are far enough away from the car that the car cannot detect them. For the key fob, you can keep it in a faraday box to block the signal.
2) If your car has not been driven for a day or two, it will go into a "sleep" mode to save the battery and the puddle lights will not come on if the car is "sleeping". When I first got my MME GT I could not figure out why the puddle lights were not turning on. Then I realized that the car had not been driven for a couple days.
